At AlphaSense, our mission has always been to help the world’s leading companies and financial institutions make critical decisions with confidence and speed. As our most recent step in executing on that mission, I am delighted to let you know that we have acquired Sentieo, a financial intelligence platform designed specifically for the investment management industry.
The acquisition of Sentieo is consistent with other recent strategic acquisitions and partnerships we have made to help expand our product and content offerings and improve the value we deliver to our customers, such as our purchase last October of Stream by Mosaic, the market-leading library of expert interview transcripts. The Stream transaction is already making a significant positive impact on our business, and we believe the same will be the case for Sentieo.
Over the past 11 years, our team has accomplished so much—and continues to innovate every day. We have built a leading market intelligence and search platform that leverages the latest AI technologies to help our users find key insights and data points from an extensive content universe, which we are constantly expanding (as shown most recently by our partnership with Goldman Sachs announced earlier this year). AlphaSense’s customer base includes thousands of enterprise customers, including the majority of S&P 500 corporations. By welcoming Sentieo to the AlphaSense family, we’re adding over 1,000 customers, including over 800 institutional investment firms. We will soon be able to serve that combined customer base with even more best-in-breed functionality and content so that they have the insights they need to make the right decisions, including:
- Unmatched AI search, monitoring, extraction, and summarization capabilities
- Access to an expanded content offerings for each company’s customers, including Stream’s transcript library
- Enhanced product workflows with Sentieo’s powerful technology and features, such as Table Explorer and advanced workflow tools that help users discover and work with key insights
Both Sentieo and AlphaSense not only share a closely-aligned mission, but also a strong product-led mindset, a drive for rapid innovation, and a customer-obsessed mentality. While Sentieo will operate independently, the partnership allows us to further accelerate the growth of both companies. Sentieo’s technologies, product, and team are among the best we’ve seen, and I am confident that this collaboration will enable us to create even more value for our users.
Over the past year, our business has continued to accelerate, with over 600 new enterprise clients added and 2.5X growth in our user base.
